I am currently in the midst of deciding which SAT Subject test to take. Because I am fluent in French and have been studying in the French system all my life, it seems natural to me to take a French subject test. However, I’ve heard echoes saying that a French SAT subject test on my application will look foolish and stupid, giving the impression that I’m scrambling for extra points.
How is this perceived by the college admissions board?
