SAT Subject Test Hoedown [What's a gal to do?]

Howdy Folks,

This lassie’s right here’s got a problem. I’m an transplant Southern gal by way of Eastern Europe (more importantly: a senior) who took the December SAT Subject test. I didn’t reckon that I’d do too well, but whadaya-know? I knocked my own socks off!

I scored a 790 on the literature test, but my other scores weren’t as glitzy. 680 on world history and by golly, a 620 on biology! I reckon since I got a 5 on both my world history and biology exams, it wouldn’t be in my benefit to send those two out.

However… I understand that Dartmouth recommends two subject test scores. What a young bell like me to do? Send one score? Send two?

Grade A beef candidate otherwise, let me tell you! Other academic stats are strong and fit snugly in Dartmouth’s average. First generation immigrant, Student Council President beloved by all who know her, glowing recommendations, sparkling wit and a gritty but formative weaving narrative inspiring of all loyalty and faith. I’m not gonna bore my readers with the whole CV, but I’m asking y’all: to send or not to send? How much will this impact me if I am otherwise all dandy?

Big thanks to all. Happy holidays!

To answer this question, I always ask another question “Will my score(s) help my application?”

If the answer is no than do not submit the 600 scores and only submit the 790.

I have no answer to your question [oh, heck, yes I do & I agree with @socaldad2002] but I really, really want to read your essay after you’re admitted. Your “voice” is compelling [but “belle” has the e on the end].
