Barron's World History.

can the world history exam be self-studied for in like 2 months using a prep book?

What years are covered on this exam? Is modern world history on it?

harder or easier than AP world? MC only of course?

and what is the format?

kaplan sat2

its a 95 MC test and it isnt hard at all, compared to the AP one

Is it do-able in one week? I signed up for June 2...

adfkajsldjf.

i think anything is possible depending how much effort you put into it. i studied an AP biology review book the weekend before it and got a 4.

Looks I'm getting almost no sleep this week...

How many wrong and still an 800?

I've been looking at the Barrons SAT II World History book and I'm starting to wonder if some of the answers in the book are incorrect (in the first quiz section) - there are a couple of questions where the answer doesn't make any sense at all. Has anyone else found this to be the case?

akiiriah, I'm in the same boat- the UPS guy with my review book couldn't find my house and so I'm not getting my book until tues. Test is on Saturday. Yay.

do we have to remember the names of the specific people, what they did, and specific dates for the test? like King Edward III, Charles Martel...etc...is it enough to know that the Muslims were driven from Western Europe in the Battle of Tours and not know that it who did it?

Well, everyone on this board says that you do need to know specific people. I have no idea, though. I'm taking it next sat!

what would u guys suggest to focus on?

anything u didnt focus on for the AP test :-)
