As the title says...
You rarely hear anything about the world history sat. Is it not very popular? why?

It’s a fairly easy SAT II (probably the easiest). So it wouldn’t look that impressive compared to Bio/Chem

lol? he doesnt have any idea what hes talking about. world is pretty hard compared to chmistry.

I took the World History SAT II the summer after I took the AP course. I ended up getting a 740(a pretty decent score, if ya ask me). The book I used to study with was the Barrons AP world history book and the topics tested are comparable. Either the World History AP is really easy (that seems to be the consensus) or the SAT II is AP-level tough (Although there aren’t any essays, really).

I don’t have an idea about what I’m talking about? I had 5 on the AP exam and 98 average in the class you dumb A**. It might’ve been hard for you maybe b/c your stupid but it’s the easiest AP class and everyone know it.

Take the AP class and Pass with an A. Understand concepts more than facts. History is about understanding concepts/developments. I think learning from an Prep book takes away from my own learning so I don’t use one for history. If your not comfortable or felt adequately prepared after taking the AP course then by all means feel free to use the prep book. Or you could use a prep book to supplement you learning throughout the year depends on you.

I use a prep book for maths/english but never for history.

Barron’s from what I’ve heard kicks A**

Barron’s is good, but the Kaplan is more complete on the history questions, though it doesn’t provide you with anything about the cultures of civilizations.

I personally used Barron’s and a small bit of outside research, and got an 800…

And the curve is SO much easier for people. You can miss as much as 10 questions and STILL get an 800…
