Ok so first off I would like to know if my current SAT subject scores are good enough. And what i need to get on SAT physics.
SAT Math 2: 770
SAT US History: 770
I don’t need physics to get me into the schools, i just don’t what it to be the reason they reject me. BTW if it means anything, I got a 4 on the AP physics 1 exam
Also, I feel as though my senior year course load is really weak compared to what I should have.
AP Calc BC
AP Econ Macro/Micro
AP Chem
AP Comp Sci
Regular 12th grade lit ( i regret not taking ap lit but its too late now)
Is my course load too weak? I currently am working 12 hours a week at a paid job and work 4 hours a week doing an internship for a congressman.
The problem is i am going to have to quit my job soon because they are relocating and I have only worked there for a little over 2 months. I don’t even know if I should even include it on my apps. I can always get another job, but I feel as though I should have focused on taking on my APs and not work. Does my course load even matter that much senior year?
My 10-11th GPA is 4.75 and I’ve taken 5 APs before senior year and 6 honors classes and have gotten As in every class so far. Also, I have 2230 on my best individual SAT and 2290 for my super score SAT
I plan on applying to schools such as UCLA, USC, UCI, UCSD, Harvard and Stanford (just for the hell of it), Johns Hopkins, MIT, and other schools of the like.
In conclusion, what do I need on SAT physics, are my current scores good enough and is my senior course load too weak, and if so what should I do about it?
