When choosing with SAT II scores to send, I’m not sure if I should send the highest plain numeric score or if i should send the highest percentile score.
For example, if I get a 740 on Spanish (72th percentile) and 720 on World history (75th percentile) which should I send?
I don’t understand why you only want to send one. You might as well send both, because if you send two scores at the same time it is the same price as sending just one.
I have 3 scores total and I need to choose 2 to send. I do not want to send all. Is it better to send the highest scores or highest percentile sittings?
Send the one that is more relevant to your area of interest.
If you only want to send two, and the college does not require all scores and the college does not explicitly ask for certain subjects, send the two highest.
quote and … (75th percentile)

The difference in percentiles is statistically insignificant.
It is important to understand that for several subjects, the percentiles are depressed because so few colleges request Subject Tests, that the ones that do are the ultra selective ones. As a result, it is the high achieving kids taking the tests. No AO is sitting on the floor cross-referencing scores with percentiles.
If you think the percentiles are crazy, look at Chinese and Korean, which is in addition to the explanation above, is skewed by heritage speakers.
Thank you! I’ll definitely do that then.
