I recently signed up for the biology, math 2 and chemistry subject tests, and I have a few concerns with each of them. I plan on applying ED to Pratt at Duke and majoring in biomed engineering. I have a SAT of 2060 with m 800 w 640 cr 620 and a uw gpa 3.95 w gap 4.85. I am currently in AP bio right now and have a 98 in the class and I find it to be common sense. I was just wondering if anyone knows from experience is molecular bio or eco bio easier. I am a fairly strong in both and I just want to know which one should I take. For Math 2, I took honors precal first semester and I also got a 98 and found it to be easy. I was just wondering would an 800 math 1 or a 750 math 2 look better (if I were to get those scores) and how are the curves for those tests. Lastly, Im very nervous about taking the chemistry test. I took chemistry at the local community college (supposed to be equivalent with AP) and did very well in the class, I just dont know if I am prepared. I dont know what to expect, and for those that did well in chemistry know how hard it is. Just kidding I lied this is the last thing.
I am choosing to send my subject tests to duke uva nc state and princeton but I am afraid that I might bomb chemistry. Say if I do, when I apply to these schools can I exclude it on my application or will they see it regardless, or should I just not send them in the first place. Thanks for the help!

bump! please help the tests are in less than 3 weeks!

I haven’t taken the Bio tests, so someone else will have to help you with that.

There is no reason to take the Math I when you have taken pre-calc. Take the Math II. The Math I has a tight curve because it is too easy (so there is no room for mistakes), and the Math II has a more moderate curve.

Chemistry is formatted very weirdly on the subject test, so you might want to consider just doing bio and Math II instead.
