Hey guys,
I should probably start with a bit of background in order to assist what I’m asking…
I’m a junior in high school (year is about to be over), and absolutely love science, and math of course. I’m in the most advanced level courses possible for my age group (AP Chemistry and AP Biology, skipped pre-requisites for Biology) and have solid A’s in both classes (~94%). I took the AP exam for both classes, I found Chemistry to be a bit harder than expected (didn’t do any prep honestly so that could be it) and I think I did pretty well on Bio (4/5 on both, probably 5 on Bio then I’m not sure which it’ll be for Chem), and did a bit of studying for bio, nothing more than like a quarter of the sections in the book I had… oh well, time wasn’t my friend on that, I’ve learned to set up study schedules now lol.
Anyways, I plan on going to a school along the likes of Northwestern, University of Chicago, etc., and majoring in bioengineering/biochemical engineering/molecular engineering, etc. etc., I’m sure you get the point.
I’m taking Math Level II, Chemistry, and Biology, but not really sure which Biology test to take… I’m assuming M because it would fit into my major a bit more… but I don’t really know if there’s a difference. Recommendations would be appreciated :).
Another question I had was how much preparation is necessary for these? Is it more difficult than the AP exams for the courses, around the same or easier?
I plan on doing some review, I got books for each, just don’t really know to what extent is necessary, that’s where I was hoping you guys could help.
Thanks so much!
