I know some colleges want them for admission, others for placement, and others simply don't need them. From what I've heard, all the florida schools don't need it. Is this true? Also, many schools don't specify on their sites whether or not they want it? So how do we know? Also, which subjects should I take? Does math level 2 hold a lot of weight in the admissions process? Or is a high score on math 1 better than average on math 2? Also, what about spanish and history and english and biology. If i want to go into medicine after undergrad (or possibly getting direct admittance into the med program) is biology subject test good to take. Thanks for the help.

Which schools are you looking at that don't have the information on their websitse? Perhaps you just haven't found it, but it's probably there.

If you're thinking of going into medicine and do decide to take SAT IIs, Bio is a good idea.
For the other ones, take a practice test for each to see what they're like. Some might be harder or easier than you'd think.

the bio SATII is do-able. the math II SATII had a huge curve when i took it three years ago--the top 10% of takers scored 800. also at that time, florida public schools could care less about the SATIIs (UF, FSU, UCF). you should definitely call the admissions offices at the schools you're interested in if you can't find the info on a website.
