I read something online that said colleges see every test you took, but they see the highest score. That being said, I took Math II, Physics, and US History. I got 750, 750, and 540 respectively. I know the history is god awful, but if I don't take it again (my major has nothing to do with history) would it really drag me down (or would colleges not see it)? Also, can you rate my other scores? A lot of people say an 800 for Math II is necessary.

some of my colleges include duke, umich, and ucla. just to give you a reference point

An 800 on Math II isn’t “necessary” by any means, but it’s certainly better than, say, a 700. In my opinion, there’s no need to retake a 750 (although this is CC, and some people will insist on retaking a 770); I’d focus my energy on retaking US. I’m not familiar with all of the colleges on your list, but a quick search would inform you about score choice policies at those respective schools!

Also, some schools (like Princeton) don’t require you to send all of your SAT II scores, but it’s more cost-effective to just send in all of them. CB charges you for choosing specific scores to send in, I believe.
