@thelemonisinplay omg same! i thought i had a lot of time left after i finished my first example then all of the sudden the lady says we have 5 minutes left so the rest of my essay pretty much sucked :/

@mangoboy Yeah, you’re right, it’s 100.

Okay, for the circle one: I made a few assumptions based on the diagram (since it didn’t say “not drawn to scale”) and you may/may not be okay with that but I got an answer and it made sense! XD Anywho. The perimeter is 24, so each side is 6. Therefore, if you drew a line connecting the two centers (which is another radius) you would have an equilateral triangle, with two sides of the quad and the line you just drew being the three sides. If it’s equilateral, the angles are all 60. Since you can make two equilateral triangles in that shape, that makes the central angle of the arc 120 degrees. From this, you can find that the darkened part of one of the circles is 8pi - therefore, the two together will be 16pi.

I skipped the math and academic question, i think 4 was right though and for one of the sentece completion did you guys get substantial and …

@SamLHS that was my thinking too so i put 18pi as well but then now that i think of it you cant be sure that it was 270arc?

I got 4 too but second guessed myself and didnt put down an answer :/

@mangoboy don’t worry, you’re not alone

@SamLHS- thank you for your explanation. i thought it was kinda hard to find the angle because a rhombus does not have to have 90 degree angles.

I know where i messed up, I implied that the angle was 90 degrees… and it went all down hill from there :S

i somehow distinctly remember getting 75 for the trucks and car answer…maybe im wrong

I got lucky on the circle question, I had like 30 seconds left, so I quickly calculated the circumference of one of the circleswhich was 12 pi and i took two thirds of that cuz it was drawn to scale, and it looked like 2/3rds so got 8 and i added them together to get 16 pi

I am almost positive it was 75.

It is 75. it was like 175-100

what did you guys get for the one that talked about line m and line l interesecting at point P in the free response?

I did the cars and trucks Q very quickly I remember, but I believe I got 75 as well. I think it might’ve been 175 - 100

Whoops. I meant 75 this whole time too. All the numbers are getting jumbled in my head now. @hebheb Are you sure that one was a free response?

I’m not hundred percent sure that was the question but it was a free response. on yeah you had to determine the y coordinate of the intersection or something

@hebheb i forgot, could u give more insight.
Oh and what did you all put for the x-int of the one with like points
(9, something) and (4, something) i got -6

@mangoboy- yeah i got -6

@mangoboy i believe it was -2.5 if i’m thinking of the right question

Math and academics I put 4 I got 8 (19-11) and just divided by 2 (idk why) I’m probably wrong
