Yes, And i don’t remember the context enough to remember why I put for example, but i did.

IP about luddites not using computers and televisions.

@mango, can you repeat the question?

The trapezoid question had three parallel lines, they gave you 22 degrees and you had to find x. What was the answer, some say 101 and others say 79 i put 79

I don’t completely remember the paragraph, but I believe the preceding sentence introduced the people who don’t use technology at all, and the sentence gave an example of them using manual typewriters instead of a computer or something. So since it’s giving the reader an example of how they avoid tech, it should be ‘for example.’ The phrase ‘in other words’ would be used to put the same general idea into different words to help the reader understand.

@mango

If i remember correctly, you had to subtract 180-22 and then divide by 2 for 79. That’s what i did. I don’t remember the whole question. Maybe you had to find the supplement and that’s why people are getting 101. I think it just depends on what the question asked.

since the two sides on the triangle with vertex 22 degrees are vertical, then the other two angles are 79. Since corresponding angles are equal, the answer is 79. I don’t see how someone got 101, then the triangle would have to be more than 180 degrees total

Ok, the I got it right. it’s 79 Thx SasmLHS and Tomatox

at some point while doing the trapezoid problem i subtracted 79 from 180 to get 101. i dont remember why but i remember getting 79 and then changing it to 101.

For one of the critical reading questions in the Japanese Rice passage, the narrator asked two questions. What was the purpose of the questions? I chose to present a predicament or something like that.

ya nabcaeks that is what i put

@NabCaeks I put that one as well.

Yeah I put the author asked the questions to present a new problem.
