im a freshman right now, and have done pretty much nothing to prepare for the SAT. I took it 1 month ago, and I am positive i bombed the english/writing part, but am VERY confident about the math section. what do you reccomend i do to study? i am aiming at schools like hyp, and want a perfect score on the SAT (i no, 1/6000 chance). what test prep books or programs work best?

Don't worry about it now, test prep classes are useless buy a practice book do some practice exams and you'll be fine, I recommend using Princeton Review and the Collegeboard book. I also recommend going to the SAT section of CC and reading Xiggi's SAT preparation, its posted at the top of the forum.

Please, don't start worrying about the SAT now...you'll drive yourself crazy by the time it's junior year. The test is not worth three (or four) years of anxiety.
