Sat this saturday...a few questions!

OK,IM DYING TO ACE THE WRITING SECTION...I NEED TIPS ON HOW TO ACE THE ESSAY?....and well...im basically aiming for a 570M 800W 590CR....any help wud be gr8!

It's a little late to be asking, don't you think? There's nothing anyone can tell you a day and a half before the test that's going to help. If you have some prep books, read the suggestions. If you don't have some prep books, well, you should have gotten some!

With the essay, just make sure you know some major events in history. It helps if you have read a lot of good books too. I went over every book I've read on sparknotes (just the overall summary; it helps you get specific in the essay, which is good). I got an 11 essay, but I missed zero in the MC.

Be as clear as possible. I wrote on two examples, and I filled up every single line on both pages (I really think this helps with your score.) Give your example, and then explain why it relates to the topic question. Make sure you demonstrate critical thinking and reason with eloquence. If you are specific with your details that helps too.

Good luck!

Oh yeah, and I really do believe that one example from history coupled with one example from literature is a simple, easy way to make them think that you are educated. They also demonstrate concrete examples, as opposed to some personal experience.

The essays are really not that difficult. It's good to be knowledgeable about outside information in order to impress the readers / judges. Just know how to write a simple essay. Trust me, it's not hard. Good luck =]
