This was for the first passage right? I think it is that you're right in "the analytic component of the brain only represents part of its function" this answer because the author is kinda of criticizing (at least showing contempt) the AI and the latter was just too objective.

I think thedude is probably right... blast it. That's minus two for me so far... probably more, too, is the sad thing

How about the one about the birds in Central Park? did you say it was comparing american nature to bird migration, or his concept of american nature?

don't worry, I made a really stupid mistakes in SC in analogy so that's -2 already, I'm sure I got at least a -4. I hope the curve'll be nice

I hope to god that -3 Raw is still 800.

Yeah I know I at least have a minus 3. prays that he didn't miss any more

for the one about birds in central park, was one of the choices "a personal anecdote..."? or was that the question (like "what does this anecdote mean")?

personal anecdote was an answer to one of the short-passage sections.

The question you speak of though was like "what is the purpose of this anecdote" about the birds

Bumpity fo sho

I said concept of american nature but I'm not 100% sure. My view is that she told the story to show that rank/class is not important and how Americans percieve it. The American view is not exactly like bird migration. Although that one is a reasonable choice, I didn't think it was the BEST choice.

I hope that's what I said, but I honestly don't remember!

Legendofmax, as I was studying for a test I remembered that I had put that humans will may never fully realize how the mind functions for the answer to the question about the authors physics story and that you had agreed with my answer in a previous thread. The frog question was something entirely different.

i didnt put the bird migration because i believe it said ANNUAL bird migration, which it didnt mention anywhere in the passage

lets say i get 12 wrong on verbal.... approximately what score do you think i would get?

7 wrong 5 omits

how many wrongs can i get to still get a 620 + on verbal?

mondy - not sure probably high 600 like 660-680 range? depends on the curve

4yanami - That would be like 18 wrong cuz 20 wrong is almost always a 600

i am sure i got 9 sc and analogies wrong plus 2 omit and atleast 7 cr wrong, so what do i get?

low 600 range if curve is normal or high 500s if curve is brutal

has anyone compiled the sentence completions or critical reading
