SAT vs. ACT: Score Comparison

SAT: 2260 (740 M, 740 CR, 780 W)
SAT II's: 800, 800, 780, 770

ACT: 34 (E 33, M 35, R 34, S 33, W ? (Prob. 12))

Which one's better? Or did I waste an extra 4 hours taking the ACT when it's the exact same score?

You could have easily looked this info up yourself and not flaunted your scores.

34 1510-1550/1600 2260/2400

SAT-ACT Conversion chart

I'm pretty sure he didn't do this to flaunt the scores, disasterous (spelling.)

We have the exact same scores, including the top 3 subject tests.

the conversion says that your SAT and ACT are equal but the SAT has more of a "wow" factor with adcoms so send that one

It took me a total of ten seconds typing ACt vs SAT in google... I'm pretty sure he's flaunting it. The second question he asks "which one should I send" is more relevant though

Umm which is better? a 36 act or a 2390 sat? I know that the act is higher, but i got a low math score (34). While the other scores where 36s I don't know if i should send it. I get an 800/800/790 on the SAT, and I know that the writing section is usually counted as less. This is really stressing me out for HYPMS!!!

jk, I just couldn't resist :P

lmao...smallcolleges, I thought you were serious until I got to the end! I had a whole rant prepared.:p

send both...

Um well I got a 2390 on the SAT too, with a 790 on the writing, and I only got a 35 on the ACT (***?!?! I'm so stupid) and my subject tests were HORRIBLE: 800, 800, 800, 800, 800, 800, and (OMGGGG) 790
Stupid Physics, only got a 790! But I'm retaking that in December so hopefully it won't be as horrible
Oh and do you think that Intel National Finalist, AP National Scholar, and being a professional pianist are enough EC's? Should I maybe finish my Astrophysics course at Harvard before I apply???
Plzzzzzzzz help me I don't know what to do, I'm not getting in ANYWHERE

hahaha JK but I also couldn't resist after seeing SmallCollegesFTW's post :D
