SAT vs GPA

hey quick question here!

I have a pretty low SAT score for Cornell's standards, (especially because they don't superscore), however, I'm wondering how holistic they look at applications. I have a great GPA, and I have taken 16 AP/IB courses, all in math, English, 2 foreign languages (1 being a semantic language), science, and social studies.

I'm 2/400 and I also have an outstanding common app essay, and great/unique extra-curricular activites, yet I'm not sure I want to waste the application fee, if my SAT will automatically keep me out. I have an SAT of a bit above 2000 when superscored, but around high 1800s when not. Please let me know!

PS. I'm super unique applicant with a clear passion in my application.

Cornell does superscore but they require you to submit all SAT testing history. Having said that, 2000 is still low for Cornell.

Will you be applying ED? If not, do you have time to prep for the Nov or Dec SAT?

look at the official class thread from previous years, there are students that have been accepted with high 1800s and mid 1900s, you are fine so long as your application is strong when looked at holistically.

You mentioned a strong passion, I think thats a recurring notion that was clearly apparent from each cornell student i have spoken to – passion is something not everybody has
