SAT World History-International-June 2013

No, sorry! … but I’m 100% it’s the right answer

Alright, I hope I got that right…

If the choices were all from europe/asia/americas I probably got it

For the nomads one, I’m pretty sure the significance was East Asia, so that referred to China. The significance was after the Han dynasty, the Tuoba Clan (Bei Wei), ruled during the three kingdoms and adopted Chinese culture.

Not sure if this has already been said, but it was an easy one that I’ll just throw out there

91) The one about the Chinese and the Greeks with their “Middle Kingdom” was ethnocentrism because they thought their society was the best or whatever

Also, I would just like to say that I was feeling good about this test until I checked this haha oh well that was only the shattering of all my hopes and dreams

@sweetsourcherry It’s there already, but thanks for the help anyways :D

For the Congo question on wikipedia it says ivory and rubber." Leopold extracted ivory, rubber, and minerals in the upper Congo basin for sale on the world market"
Also I am pretty sure that the spread of agriculture developed separately from each other because if it didn’t natives in America would have learned about agriculture in 1500s

Check the curve out, you might have done fine

@heycall123 some dude was sure its rubber and teh agriculture thing is debatable. see the previous arguments

I don’t remember the Sudan question or the De Gualle question. But the decline of the maya question was on the test.

Which of the following is not a reason for Mayan decline.

Answer: Mexica (Aztec) Invasion

I really hope the Congo question turns out to be ivory. That’s what I put.

same here @Harrovian. neither do I remember the Scandinavian nor rebel hideouts qs.

do they give the exact same test for each person?

The Scandanavian question was where they gave you 2 epitaphs that described why these people died. Then asked you to draw a conclusion from that. It was mostly a reading comprehension question.

hm i recall skipping a reading passage with two quotes because of time management so that might’ve been it. thanks

the congo question was definately rubber no question about it

I just read through the Congo wiki page and Rubber and Ivory are pretty much always mentioned together. Pretty much impossible to know the right answer IMO.

Hey,

What were the exact questions regarding De Gaulle and Sudan. I can’t seem to recall them. Please post the answer choices also if possible.

Its definately rubber, the Belgians exploited the Congo for its rubber resources which were used for the production of rubber tires

Didn’t the Hammurabi’s code have two questions with it? Like another “except” question?
