SAT worries

If one does not have the score report in by January 31, does this mean that the application will not be considered?

The application will be considered. Just call them and ask.

Scores should be sent electronically, directly from ETS. We do not recommend the January test date as those scores aren't typically sent until mid-February and there's no guarantee that we won't have read the applications by the time they show up.

I'm not sure where the January 31st date came from. That isn't one of our deadlines.

If we don't have the official scores, we'll go with what is self-reported, but the scores will remain on your "to do" list until they come in from ETS.

Thank you very much Dean J.

The college board posts deadlines on their "My organizer" page, and it listed January 31st as the deadline for SAT score reports.

I suppose they're just trying to make money. :)

College Board is wrong again.

Always read the application instructions on the college websites instead of relying on 3rd party sites.

Do they ever get it right? They need to invest some of their mega bucks in better reporting. Unsuspecting applicants consider them the gold standard of information and the truth is they are incompetent.
