does anyone know when schools will start looking at the writing scores/which ones already are. im looking into upenn and hopkins.

also, i got a 7 (!!!!!!!!!) on my essay! i completely do not understand!!! i dont mean to brag in the least bit, but i get A's on my ap lit and apush essays, yet i cant score above the median for the SATs?? is SAT writing different than ap writing and if so, could someone enlighten me on the "proper" format/writing style for the essay?

I always thought that you could write in any format, as long as you answer the question, and you support yourself with examples... Check the schools' websites.. maybe they have it on there whether they count writing or not..or check out collegeboard's how I stack up and compare yourself..I think if the schools dont report a writing score profile, they don't really value it much...

I know what you mean about always doing great in english, and then seeing your writing score..I mean, I always think I write 12s and I get like 8s, which is totally bogus..but whatever.
