SATII Scores Questions!!! :)

Hey all! Im like super new here but this website is really helpful so thanks in advance doves! Okay so I have an 800 chem, 800 math2, 710 lit, 630 french, 600 US History, and 4 AP Lit. I haven't gotten my ap grades back yet (I'm like SOOOOO nervous lol) but I'm like almost completely 100% sure i have 5 ap chem and 4 or 5 ap us history and 4 or 5 world history. And i like think i did soooo bad like awfully bad on french ap :( but I'm not sure how they grade so i have no idea really. (i'll post when i know though ;))

And like colleges love diversity and stuff like that right? ya know? And like all my great grades are all in sciences and maths and technical stuff (I LOVE stuff like that and like things that are technical). And like my humanities are okay, averaging like a little better than a B+ish. So like should I just send my 800 in chem and math2? because that makes me look so like one sided right? does that matter? Should i use my Lit score (710) to make me more diverse or does that ruin the 800s? Should i send my US History SAt 2 (600) if i have a 4 or 5 in US History ap and World History? Should I retake it? Should I not worry about the History SAT 2-600 if I already have humanities (Lit AP(4) and SAT2(710) and world history AP(4 or 5) and US Hsitory AP(4 or 5)) to make me more diverse and instead like just get my french SAT 2(630) better so I have a language? Do I need a french SAT 2 if my ap ends up being good? Do colleges even look at more than 2 sat2 scores?

SOOOO sorry for all my questions MWAH :]

P.S. I'm looking for like a HUGE school if that matters for your advice (i just lovelovelove people i just don't get how people could go to a small school hehehe) and i got a 2250 SAT 1 and want a really good school that will help me for good grad schools

<3

I would recommend sending your 3 strongest scores. They average out to 770 which is excellent.

Whoa there. Colleges will definitely look at and consider all the scores you send them. But if you’re applying to selective schools, anything that is below a 700 isn’t doing you any favors. Don’t consider US history or French- they’re not really bad or anything, but they’re just totally unnecessary. Colleges do like diversity, but every college will tell you they look for both well-rounded students and well-lopsided students. If you’re the latter, that’s not a bad thing- it could make you stand out even more. Especially if you specify an interest in pursuing a more technical field, they will mainly evaluate math/science tests anyway. And remember, most schools require only 1 or 2 subjects tests to indicate you have mastery in some other fields, not in EVERY single class you take. Plus, sounds like your APs will be good. Just relax :)
