SATs vs. ACT

I've applied ED II.

My standardized test scores, with the exception of AP tests, suck hardcore.

I'm not sure whether I should send my SAT or ACT scores or both...

SAT I: 1320 (700v 620m)
SAT II: Writing: 740
U.S. : 730
Lit :700

ACT: 30 comp

30 english, 28 math, 34 reading, 27 science.

I'm taking both the SAT and the ACT again one more time, but as of now, which one would be better?

What are you talking about? They're not bad.

By Vassar's standards they are unfortunately :(

Last year, vassar's SAT middle 50% range was like 1340-1470.

Yeah, but the average ACT is a 30, and Vassar dean of admission said they take whatever test makes you look best. I would not worry!

Ok cool - so I don't have to worry about sending in just one set of scores? Excellent.

Thanks.

Yea, i just wanted to confirm what BMK6789 said (i always like hearing things from more than one source). The admissions officer I spoke to when i visited said that they pick the best of your scores, whichever one is higher SAT's or ACT's. :-D

Thanks for the confirmation :)

hey, dont know if youll ge this in time, but you can bring up both of your scores on the SATs (definetly math) with a little studying...just learn the tricks of the test, not any math...buy the book, 10 real SATs...that and a private tutor taught me JUST THE TRICKS THE TEST TRIES TO PLAY ON YOU, and it raised my score by 60 POINTS!!! :) Hope you get this in time!
