I have always been a good student, but 1st semester junior year my priorities have changed to my friends and they are ruining my life. My grades have never been so low, atm i have 3 Bs. I did ok on my first attempt at the sat 2110, but i took it in Dec and got a 2040. Idk what on earth to do. I have never really been a hard worker but it seems like my parents have given up on me. Please and i need CCers to help me and save my life before its 2 late.

bump bump please guys my life might not be the same

Get your priorities straight. If your friends are ruining your life, stray away from them. Also 3 B’s isn’t bad, just try to work harder. I highly doubt your parents given up on you. Talk to them, have communication with teachers, guidance, and class mates. Juniors have a lot to think about. It’s really a mental thing. You have to prepare for what’s coming, have self-control, focus on grades grades, grades if you’re really concerned. It’s better to study hard until it hurts, than hurting from the regrets. I really hope you will work it out, I’ve been there before, and don’t give up. Good Luck :)

You’ve still got a semester- that certainly leaves room for improvement. It really comes down to how self-motivated you are. You’ve got to have the control to turn down a party if you have to study for a test, or to get off of facebook if you want to get in some SAT prep. Focus on your long-term goals, and with those in mind, be proactive about making them happen. Join some clubs, get a job, do an internship.

Of course, leave some time to hang out with your friends. Just make sure you’re keeping yourself busy with your academics as well.
