lol ^ none at all? well i guess if u just told them u were desi, they'd figure out wat u look like. hehe jk

i sent one in- it was me in the middle of my fave EC.

To me, people who send pictures are silly. I know that if I were an admission officer and the applicant were ugly, I’d reject him right on the spot. :)

good thing im not ugly then
lol

beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.... lol

haha no its not, dont lie. if ur ugly, ur ugly to the world. lol

I sent in my pic, I even wrote my phone number on the back...god id do nething to get into Penn!

haha i'm pretty sure there's a psychological thing behind seeing someone's pic and relating it to the rest of the app. I agree with kk1912363816

I am going to send in my picture. I am told my picture is really pretty, and my mother is forcing me. I am against it...I am worried about being judged based on appearances. But on the rest of my app I appear to be a complete and total nerd, so perhaps my nice picture will offset that.

yeah it's always good to have some sort of a balance.

i'm just sending my picture because i'm hoping the regional admissions director will remember me. i just met him last week.

that's awesome! i guess we should give a pic that's formal, but not too formal, you know?

i gave them my senior picture. it looks pretty natural though.

My picture is me on Locust Walk. Hopefully that shows some interest in PENN? I certainly dont have stellar SAT scores...so I need to do everything I can.

haha my pic is of my and my 4 year old brother sitting on my shoulders, were bothing wearing the same penn sweatshirt, and im just hoping to cash in on his adorableness and the fact that we look so much alike

im sending in my pic-because at best it means that whoever rejects you will first have to look you straight in the face (albeit on film...) But it seems like every1 is submitting casual? I was going 2 use a portfolio shot-is no1 else using a pro?

my senior picture.

ehh i would say don't try too hard to impress using the pic, you know? Just be yourself. That's just my opinion.

Clearly u did not read the statement "it is always gratifying to put a face to someone who we may have met during a college visit." That sums it up.

Hmm.. I sent in kind of a modest pic, where I have very minimal, au natural makeup on, because I wanted to come off as a wholesome looking kid so they would take me seriously. I mean I could've sent in a few really like HOT pictures... (not skanky, just more done up lol) ... but I don't know. Was going for wholesome a bad idea? And Im sorry this post must sound ridiculous but I'm just so worked up over getting in to this school. AH.
