Since I can’t scream IRL, I will do it here. I (local gov’t employee) have to work in a room of maskless people 8 hours a day. They will not let me WFH even though I was 2-3x more productive when they let me last spring. Elementary teacher H is being told 2-3 months before he can get his, but must teach kids f2f all day. But they post a nice happy video of all the city councilmen getting theirs today because they are government officials?!! OMG! <LOUD SCREAM!!!>

Southwest has the worst travel funds policy of all airlines. No extension due to unable to travel during Covid. And now when the rest of the airlines have flexible refund/ change rules what even the point to fly southwest?
Younger daughter: will find out two admissions decisions this within the week. I hope she gets a yes from at least one. She is a great kid and I’d love for her to get this victory.
Older daughter: got a nice promotion at work and at age 25, is making over twice the salary that I was making when I left my career at age 40. Happy to see her rewarded for her dedication and hard work!

I cannot believe you have the audacity to complain! I know they told you you were going to receive the Pfizer vaccine and they ran out and you received Moderna. I understand that Moderna is less effective on those who are older. But, good grief!! Many of us who are younger are likely going to be waiting for months. You are determined to be unhappy and ungrateful. I have never met anyone who complains as much as you do. Sometimes I wonder why I continue this friendship. I hope you didn’t cause a scene, and I hope you didn’t get MIL all riled up about this since she is going to the same place today and will also likely receive Moderna instead Pfizer.

Are you kidding me?! H and I had to get tested for Covid at my in laws’ assisted living facility because a staff member had tested positive. Our insurance won’t cover it, and each of our tests is $200. The lab is “participating” in our insurance, but there is no price adjustment for being insured. And insurance says no coverage, so the whole $400 is our responsibility. Why is this virus running rampant? Among other reasons, the cost of testing is prohibitive.

Classmate- You made derogatory comments about some on that facebook page and then got mad that someone called you a loveable curmudgeon and demanded that she take that down? Maybe there is a reason you are a lonely old man who never married. And I am not looking forward to our ext zoom call if you are going again to be a windbag who dominates the conversation with stuff no one cares about. Thank heavens for the side private chats a few of us have to get through that while you drone on.
