Roads are icy, but you thought you could handle it. NO ONE can drive safely on ice. What were you thinking trying to come up a hill? Now the car is in the middle of the road, and AAA says it will be hours for a tow truck. Chances someone else will hit the car seem high. Iām relieved youāre not hurt but angry with you and angry that I didnāt physically prevent you from leaving the house.
Relative who had covid early on and lost his cousin/buisness partner to covid at that time, now is not only showing off on Facebook that he is away for the weekend, drinking and eating indoors, but also getting a new tattoo.
Itās down to about a month now. I have to stay calm but I am dreading this.

So frustrated with the vaccine rollout in MA. H is 66 and is having surgery this week to get a defibrillator but is still not eligible to get a vaccine. There are slots available that we can see online but hasnāt been able to sign up for them because they are only for 75+. Seriously, 66 and with a heart condition and still isnāt allowed to sign up. Now we are probably off a week or two more because of the surgery.
Yikes, home delivery of the newspaper increased from $158 two years ago to $208 last year to $291 this year. At least I was able to call and give a sob story and get new rate decreased to $247. I do love having an actual paper with breakfast, not a digital one.

You are not more important than anyone else. If you jump to the front of the vaccine line just because you know someone and they owe you a favor then I will shout about it from the rooftops. Your entire life has been all about you taking advantage of your privilege. I will not stand for you taking someone elseās vaccine appointment. I will become the loudest pain in the butt about this. I will make sure everyone knows what you did and I will make sure you never live it down. So donāt. There are elderly people, cancer patients, etc etc who need that vaccine NOW. You just sit your arrogant bottom back down and wait your turn.

Iām sorry there was no Stanford commencement ceremony for your BS in 2020. Now we learn that Stanford will not have an in-person commencement ceremony for your MS in 2021. Iām sorry. I plan on making that day very special. Not sure how, but I will. You can count on that.

I know many people are night owls; I use to be one when I wasnāt working full time. But even then, I knew not to call and text people at 10:30 at night! I keep my phone on during the night, so donāt appreciate the late even text; that is what email is for! To my cousin that did send and email, but decided to text the same thing 2 minutes later, I didnāt answer your email as I was in bed.
