Oh child, I know you want to do this travel/work thing and get to see more of the country, but going to that state for 3 months of winter will likely be miserable. I know you should do it, and you probably will, but I’ll miss you and I’ll just feel bad for you and your bf and your dog all being stuck there.
Continuing the holiday season dreariness, no, I shouldn’t have gone to see that Star Wars matinee with half the people in the world today, and I wanted to go right home after but got sucked into going out for pizza with everyone. I didn’t want to sit and wait for a table since now we were now a party of 8, but it worked out. Don’t you people understand the beauty of solitude? At least I didn’t have to eat any of that clam pizza, phew!
To people who subtly or not so subtly brag about being a SAHM- and equate that with being a “good mother”- that’s nice that you can afford to do that because someone else is supporting you, or you are a trust fund baby… but do you understand the concept of humility? And that because someone else chooses to work, or even has to work to survive, please don’t insinuate that you are a “better mother” than they are.
You are a lousy grandfather. Giving an 11 yr old girl books for Christmas that contain child molestation, murder, rape, burglary, physical child abuse, and other awful stuff is totally inappropriate. The library is going to get a donation in the very near future. Next year just do us a favor and don’t send gifts at all, ok?

Bed and table linens companies-It would be really helpful if you could all put the size on the tags. Just one letter for sheets will do, K Q F T and one line for table linens, 70x120, etc. Some of you are doing it but let’s get everyone in the game. Please!

I went searching for that thread I can never remember the name of, after someone posted a really snarky comment to someone who was just trying to be nice, and I wanted to make my snarky comment back somewhere… but I just bit my tongue.
The “airport challenged” child actually made her 4 PM shuttle, and made it to the airport in time. Now her flight is delayed. At least it’s only 30 minutes… for now…
