Those were two beautiful floral arrangements delivered this morning - too bad they weren’t intended for me. Thanks illiterate delivery guy for just adding to the sadness.
Clarity is the best education.
I’m so pleased that my daughter has become such an enthusiastic learner at her university, even though it’s not considered to be rigorous. She’s getting a great education. I’m also happy that she’s home for three weeks before living in Philadelphia for the summer.
It’s just as well. (No relation to Maine Longhorn’s post)
Breakup report, after 7 weeks. His heart is still broken, but he’s picking up the pieces. In many ways life is good, even tho there’s a gaping wound in the middle of it. Places to go, people to see.
First time ever that I have no kids home for Mother’s Day. Bummed!!!
Loved one diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Hit by the realization/ hard truth that it is easier to hear about these things on media and through word of mouth than experience them firsthand.
I know it’s the best thing ever, college graduation, right? But really. You’re leaving the absolute best years of your life behind. IMO.
My eyeballs sometime roll so far that I can see yesterday.
I have got to find a new hairstylist, but I don’t know of anyone in this small town. Plus I don’t know how to tell my long-time stylist that I’m tired of the same old haircut no matter what picture I show her. Yesterday’s cut makes me want to cry.
So you can’t come to my D’s HS graduation because you’re too tired. Yet you just drove 5 hours to see your other granddaughter graduate from grad school, and the day before my D’s graduation you are flying to FL (from NY).
It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been around.
Either you live under a bridge or there’s a guy with a net in his hand approaching your house.
Catch any fish with that bait?
I think the term glam-ma is kind of pathetic.
You are a self rightous, condescending piece of work who doesn’t even know what you don’t know.
Mr. Math Teacher,
DD is so frustated by your class that she met with a tutor yesterday. No, she is not in danger of failing your class but really wants to master the material and you are either unwilling, or unable, to explain things in more than one way, even after she has asked her questions in multiple ways. You sir, are part of the reason there are too few female engineers and that nasty myth that “girls just are not as good at math” continues to exist.
My 18 year old daughter arrived home from work in tears. She had been fighting them all day…on the busiest day of the year if you’re cashier in a diner. It seems that on the way in this morning, she was called a &&&&ing streetwalker by some 50:year old lunatic. She was in dress clothes crossing the street to the diner from the lot she was told to park in today.
I won’t wish the same fate on your wife or daughter; I’m sure their lives are hard enough. My prayer is that I can get to the point where my wish is that you get the help younso obviously need. Right now I’m just really, really angry.
Stop derailing the thread with your petty bickering! Take your drama to private messages or shut up!
worst. mothers day. ever.
Cleaned out my underwear drawer and threw away 39 pairs of old panties! Some so old the elastic was dry and brittle. Sock drawer, you’re next!
