SCA double majoring

is it possible to major in the animation and digital arts program and in environmental studies (double major)? This is my dream education and today someone told me it wasn't possible D:

thanks!

and this is for the School of Cinematic Arts at USC~

You should always check online for official USC major requirements to calculate units. In your example,
42 units for animation major (btw, it’s 24 units in animation minor)
48 environmental studies
24 GE requirements
12 foreign language

That’s 126 units and you need 128 units to graduate, so theoretically it could be done in 4 years. However, not all courses are taught every semester and some classes must be taken in a proscribed sequence. There is the chance you might place out of some of these courses (4-5 in very specific AP classes can replace 2 of the req GEs, and 4-5 on foreign language AP or placement tests can reduce language req), but getting a double major can be grueling and take a lot of close planning to complete in 4 years. Can it be done–yes. Some students need an extra semester.

thank you so much!!! You just saved my hopes
