How do these scaled scores measure compared to the real one?

i.e. are they more lenient/harsh?

plzz someone answer...

Official<Kaplan<PR<Barrons??? This is what I was thinking but i havent done all of them

My son did 800 on Mcgraw Hill, 760 on Pr's first test and low 600 on Pr's 2nd test. So I would like to know too.

For what tests? The books have different authors and therefore varying difficulty.

In my experience - (from most difficult to easiest, based on personal experience of actually taking the test)

Chemistry: SparkNotes > Kaplan > PR > Official. I've gotten as low as 620 on SN, and a 770 on CB. 740 on Kaplan, and all over on PR

Physics: Barrons > SparkNotes > PR > Official > Kaplan. 650 on Barrons (although I had done NO prior studying when I took this test), 720ish on SN, 760 on two PR tests, 750 on Official (stupid mistakes though), an 800 in 30 minutes on Kaplan (however I had just read the entire book in one sitting so that might have helped :P)

It really depends on the subject. Barrons tends to be ridiculously hard, especially for US history, and scores on the real test are generally much higher. Official is obviously the most similar b/c they are actual tests. Beyond that I don't really know.

Sorry, I was talking about Math level 2.

I once got CB test score lower than the other prep book scores...
i was freaked out....
does anyone find CB bluebook chem test hard?? i thought it was very hard and random..

I didn't think it was too hard, but I made tons of stupid mistakes on it and got a 720. If I had READ every question carefully, I would have only missed 2 and gotten an 800 lol

bleh.. I got 760 on the official collegeboard for math, and then dropped to 730 on a kaplan test, and then 660 on the next kaplan test...

blehghhfghghgh I'm mUTatintiNGG!!!!!! lol.. its funny i thought i would improve my original grade but now i would be (This ) happy if I got 760, or anything over 700

the math II C for barrons is wayy harder... i dont know about princeton review, but mcgraw hill is easier than college board. the acutal for mine i felt was a little harder than the collegeboard book..
