Scared!!!

<p>My top choice, by far, is the University of Virginia. However, I did TERRIBLE on my AP tests (Got 3's) and on my SATs. What are my chances of getting in with these terrible scores. Here are my other stats:</p>

<p>White Male from Virginia
(Extremely Rural County; One of the smallest in Virginia)</p>

<p>Political Science B.A.</p>

<p>Applying RD</p>

<p>GPA
3.94/4.0 U.W
4.36 W</p>

<p>(I only got one B my entire high school career, and it will go up after first semester grades for senior year are in. I got straight A's)</p>

<p><strong>During 10th grade year, there was a problem with our gifted teacher and she deliberately gave everyone in the class a b. This dropped me out of first in the ranking. The board of supervisors and school board are deliberating on whether everyone should be awarded and A or a B, so my GPA/Rank may fluctuate</strong></p>

<p>Dont' worry so much. You have a great chance. Come on UVA is not THAT difficult to get into especially with your stats.</p>

<p>um.. i understand why you're scared, but your stats look really great! your gpa is fantastic, you've got tons of ec's, you take advanced courses and you said you had good recs and essays...
i wouldn't worry too much.
plus you're in state, which should help .. a lot!</p>

<p>your stats are not bad at all, on or above average the very least</p>

<p>the major factor IMO is your demographics
+in-state
+small/rural area (increases your chances by ALOT for the most part)</p>

<p>we're all scared and will be until admissions offers are happily sitting on SIS, but i'd say you don't really have to be
on a scale of 1-10, I'd say 8.5-9.5</p>
