SCEA and applying to Accelerated Medical Programs

I have a question I have not yet seen discussed here.

If a student was to apply SCEA to Yale, I understand it limits the type of schools they can apply EA or ED to. And I understand students can still apply RD anywhere.

BUT many of the accelerated BA/MD programs have their own, earlier, application date.
For example, Case Western Reserve has a special Dec. 1 deadline for students applying to the PPSP program. This is earlier than the regular application but is not “EA or ED.”

So, the question is, can you apply SCEA to Yale AND apply to one of these early deadline combined programs?

Thanks!

Yes. Yale (and other SCEA colleges) don’t put any restriction on what date you submit your regular-decision application to any other college, as long as you aren’t assured of an answer before January 1 or committed to enroll if accepted before that date.
