SCEA Countdown Thread

No worries, the level of activity will pick up soon enough. :D

30 days, anyone? that's like... a month.

The anticipation is killing me. I had a dream last night I was accepted. It was awesome. But I can't get my hopes up :(

dude how strange pacers! i have too! lol. but like you, i cannot be optimistic. how many of you are actually going to stanford if you get accepted but not given any financial aid?

me, I didn't apply.. my mom laughed at me when I asked her for info and said, "Don't even bother applying. You're not going to get any aid." ):

Of course I'm going!!! I wouldn't be walking around everyday in anticipation of December 15 (hopefully earlier...)!!!

Yea I'd be going anyways.. I'm not expecting any aid at all =(

EDIT: That's IF I get in.. which is about 20% as we all know

check out my countdown

nice picture, pacers. but it's kind of hard to read the numbers.

If I get in...
I am SO THERE

...even if it means I'll be slaving away for the next for years to pay for expenses
:p

just one more month! =)

guys, this is the homestretch....i'm sure many of you have been working towards this app for years (or at least since like tenth grade). Some of you applied on a whim. Either way, keep this in perspective. It's an exciting time, enjoy it, and if you don't get in, hey--you know the ride was fun at least.

Is anyone else finding it hard to concentrate on anything? I'm so out of it. It's like senioritis + Stanford app = no wok done...

pyleela, I've had senioritis from my last day of school last year.. hahah. I'm so tired of everything, and I'm pretty much ready to graduate right now.

dude, i feel the same way....plus I made two glaring on my app and it sucks

The ride's no fun if you don't get there... =)

lol pyleela. try some tiramisu ^^. got me rolling last week. now i am hyped about everything. but when im at school, i feel so tired (teachers talk too much).. if only school had tiramisu lol. on the other note, pyleela, if you get accepted, things will just get worse, not better. thats when the true senioritis kicks in.

Tiramisu has to be the greatest dessert ever invented, I wish I knew how to make that stuff. Heck, I wish I could cook in general. And yeah, senioritis is killing me too, I cant even seem to muster up enough of my attention span to complete even the simplest assignment. I hope I'm not this lazy next year, unless Stanford has some crazy grade inflation, which I'm guessing not really.

Ugh...I just can't waiitttt...I want THAT post-senioritis, not this icky "I-don't-know-what's-going-to-happen" one. I don't even care about being valedictorian/saludatorian as long as I get in! :) That said, I am still working towards that... o.O;;;

Just so no one thinks I'm like completely slacking off. I am in love with that debate team though. sigh If only that was the only class I had...

lol i agree with you pyleela ^^. if we both get in, i hope we will be able to debate against each other lol. you should also look into the model un if you have it at your school.
