What happens if say, you are junior status at Rutgers and you decide not to attend any longer until the future, for no real legitimate reason...yes I know this sounds very weird, sorry. So basically I guess you can consider this a "Drop out of Rutgers"...but say you had a really nice GPA , maybe a 3.5 so to speak.

What happens then? Are you considered a drop out and will they let you back in? I am supposing that once you are here at Rutgers you better complete the degree and remain full time status...or else you are screwed. It seems very cutthroat but I guess that's the way college is, especially at Rutgers.

I believe a Uni like Kean does not care what you do, as long as you just complete the degree.

[Leave of Absence](<a href=“Error Page”>Error Page)

You can leave, you just need to let them know in advance. Then I think you have a half a year or a year to come back. No reason required, it happens more than you’d think

Why would you want to drop out now, with only 2 years left, if you have a 3.5 gpa?

Hmmm.

Well, I know at my other school once you are a student, you are always a student unless you get expelled or something like that. However, that may be because there were a lot of non-traditional students at my previous school and some of them would just randomly take off years and years to work and then come back. It was not a big process at my old school. You just dont fill out your FAFSA or register for classes for that year if you dont want to attend, and thats it.

Not too familiar with how it is at Rutgers. Every school is different I guess.
