4 day weekend definately.
right now i have your option #1, with wednesday off, and its not that great. i'm almost itching to go to class then rather than have class on a day adjacent to a weekend. it also depends if you work.

I've got a MW schedule now, but I'm itching to change to a TR...having a day off before a wknd and after a wknd sounds better, don't you think? :D Of couse, I do work 6 days a week so it's not like I'm napping all day...don't I wish.

But yeah. 4 day weekend!! No question about it.

Oh I forgot to mention why I'm hesitant to do TR for spring- I'll have back to back finals on 6/14 starting at 8AM...should I avoid those at all cost?

dude it depends. ive had a lot of professors who schedule finals like that and then decide to push them up to 10th week. which mightve just been fluke cases of me getting lucky, or it might be a comm thing, but eh. just depends on the classes. like if theyre decently easy finals, back to back might not be so bad.

you won't fall asleep, but by 5pm you might be hating yourself.

fall quarter i was overly confident and did 4 classes over T/R (one T only night class, the rest were both days). those tuesdays, where I was on campus from 9am-8pm for class and then 8pm-10pm for EC stuff, were the 10 most miserable tuesdays of my life. That said, it wasn't hard or anything. I just hated being on campus for so long. I've had lots of other T/R schedules that were better managed. But yeah, 16 units over two days was rough.

Although, I was also working office hours m/w/f on top of it. If your work schedule isn't that intense, it probably wouldn't be so bad to just get it over with. I always prefer to condense my schedule as much as possible.

i actually can't because im stupid and took an extra interpersonal comm class this quarter thinking i needed it when really i need one more mass comm class. and there are only 2 mass comm classes i haven't taken that are being offered that work with my schedule. soooo i have t/r, 11-12, 1-4 both days.

you can do one day a week if you do three 3-hour seminar classes that fall on the same day. it's doable but rare.
