Schedule conflict! What's the most managable AP to self-study for and score a 5?

Just like the title says. I had a major schedule conflict today and ended up with 0-5 instead of 6 like I planned, and that leaves a gap in my schedule and ruins my future classes (I going to be a sophomore) I had panned out for my junior and senior years.
I figured, I could use that as time to self-study. What's the most manageable one, and possible for a sophomore to take the AP test for?

AP Psychology is one. Buy a review book and just go.

AP Stat is all calculator.

AP Human Geography. Don’t even study until the week before the test.

I see! So AP Psychology is the best bet? Anything else?
And again, am I “allowed” to take the AP exam as a sophomore?

APES (Environmental Science)

AP Environmental Science

AP Human Geography

AP Psychology

AP Statistics

AP Art History

Listed in order from least difficult to most difficult in easiness

Yes, you can take any of these exams any time you like.

^ This list is more or less correct until we get to #5. AP Art History is NOT the 5th easiest AP exam. I’d say it’s more towards the harder end of the spectrum. Jigglypuff doesn’t know what she’s talking about.

Is Stats really that easy?

I heard that the ease of AP Stats widely varied, though I haven’t taken the subject myself.

AP Art History can be self-studied but is not one of the ‘easier APs’. Compare it more to the other history APs.

Psych, Gov, and I’ve heard human geo but I can’t corroborate.

PS: A 4 is really all that’s needed for credit. Just FYI.

I took psych and gov as a sophomore and got a 4 on both. Didn’t study at all.

I took bio as a sophomore too and got a 4, but I had honors bio to help me study with that. I didn’t study anything in addition to that though.

@puggly AP Art History is just memorization…You don’t need prerequisite knowledge to do well on it.

^I’d put it at the same level as AP Bio. Possibly the hardest AP history with a somewhat harsh curve to boot.

Yeah I would say psych or apes

Whenever people talk about this, no one mentions English. I took Lang & Comp without taking the class or studying or prepping at all and got a 4, and I’m not particularly gifted at English or anything. Spend a week prepping and you’ll have an easy 5.

I agree with reginaphalange. I took the class, but I believe if you have a decent command of the English Language, you’re not a complete idiot, and you’ve learned how to write intelligently about a piece of literature in previous English classes, you’ll do fine. Just pick up a study book and memorize the literary devices they will ask you about. I didn’t study and got a 5.

I beg to differ. Some people are naturally gifted in English and can do well without studying for the AP exam. Most people aren’t.

I would say the easiest AP I took was AP Comp Sci A. Took it as a junior in a class full of sophmores as well as seniors, and many did well on the AP exam. Not to mention the class was a breeze. It’s basic logic. If you are good at math you’ll be good at programming.
