I just realized that I have a time slot conflict between my chemistry discussion which just so happens to be waitlisted (2) for C. Johnson and MCWP. Do you think it'd be wise to drop MCWP and enroll in another section (keep in mind all of them are full) or maybe another HSS/GE or should I stick with what I have and make decisions after (if) I get into the chem class.

Anyone have any knowledge as to the chances of a waitlisted (1-3) MCWP student actually getting in? = /

..and yes I was gone for the day so the new section of chem6A that everyone's talking about is full and I find that it starts exactly at the same time another one of my classes end... so no good there.

If you want Johnson, you could drop muir writing and take it another quarter. Its not really the end of the world...

For waitlists for Muir writing... 1 might get in. 2... very slight chance. 3... nearly impossible. You could try though (esp. if you are 1 on the waitlist), and be sure to go to the first class...

just talk to johnson on the first day of class and explain your predicament; as long as there isn't a mass exodus of other students from their own discussions, she'll let you take the quizzes with another TA/section time.

it's not a big deal to not take muir writing the first quarter.

heck, there was a 28? year old senior taking the second quarter of writing with me.

but seriously, your schedules...chill. most of y'all aren't in a hurry to graduate and postponing a quarter is not a big deal since you can always fill it up with GEs.
