scheduling conflict, would appreciate some input :-)

<p>I am currently enrolled in LS 3, Physics 6B, and Chem 14D.</p>

<p>I have a time conflict on Friday with:
1) LS 3 lab
2) Chem 14D lecture
3) Physics 6B discussion</p>

<p>I can work around this conflict easily by listening to 14D lectures online and attending a different 6B discussion....but, I received an email from the LS department saying they will drop me from LS 3 if I don't resolve these conflicts. This is surprising to me because it's my problem, not theirs. </p>

<p>Has anyone had this problem before? I really need this schedule because it follows what I have planned for my upcoming quarters, years.</p>

<p>is the dropping process automatic? I've been talking to the LS core curriculum people and they say they can't do anything about it and won't answer if it's an automatic process or they will manually do it by hand. </p>

<p>they seem kind of hostile...</p>
