So my HS has this idiotic rule where a fine arts credit is required for graduation. I have NO interest in art or music, so I haven't taken any as of yet. I am only a Junior. So what I am going to do is just take Art 1 next year as a senior. The problem is I don't want colleges thinking I have slacked off my Sr year. Should write a letter explaining it's no biggie and my HS requires it? Also, my HS doesn't offer a ton of AP courses, but I am taking pretty much most of them. You can only take AP Euro as a soph. I'm currently taking AP Government and AP Language now, and then probably 4 AP's as a Sr. Also, should I write them proclaiming my HS doesn't offer a plethora of college classes ,but I'm taking pretty much all of them that they do offer. Thanks.

I'd think it's no big deal. My high school has the same rule, and in my Art 1 class, there a ton of seniors including this one girl who got into Princeton. Colleges will understand. If you're really worried, maybe you should get the credit over the summer.
