Hey guys, in my AP European History class, my teacher wants us to start thinking of our junior year schedules (kinda early but he's in charge of honors school also so he has to make sure there are no conflicts); so this is my schedule. Do you think it's strong enough for schools such as Duke, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Emory, and Georgia Tech? All constructive criticism is appreciated.

Chemistry I Honors (1st semester)
Algebra III Honors/Discrete (2nd semester)
AP English Language and Composition
AP United States History
French IV Honors
Two-Dimensional Art (1st semester)
Advanced Two-Dimensional Art (2nd semester)
Introduction to Philosophy Seminar (honors class; 1st semester)
Study Hall (2nd semester...haha gotta have a break =)

Looks pretty good to me. 2 AP's, all core classes are taken, and I'm assuming you're trying to concentrate in arts, so I think your schedule is pretty good, as long as you're challenging yourself. Although I don't know how those colleges would look at your skedge, so you should wait for someone helpful than me to solve that mystery.

Thanks for the feedback! Obviously, I'm not a math/science oriented person (reason why I'm taking Algebra III instead of Pre-Calculus like the other kids). I was just wondering if two AP's is enough for the competitive colleges (compared to some kids taking like 5 their junior year)? I'm trying not to be too bogged down with stuff since I'll be Junior Class President and school chair for Youth Action Council. By the time I graduate, though, I plan on taking six AP's (one sophomore year, two junior year, and three senior year).
