:[ Me sorry.

Don't get my schedule until next year.

Here are the courses I'm taking

Note: I attend a Canadian School that doesn't offer AP :'(
Data Mangement
English
Religion
Chemistry
Physics
Biology

already took some grade 12 courses in grade 11.

However here are the AP exams I plan to self-study for

English Composition
Biology
Chemistry
Physics C
Calculus BC

mine is:
AP World
AP US
AP Literature
AP Chemistry
Entrpreneurship (accredited at a college)
Financial Planning
PE IV
Pre-Calc

I'm going to be a senior in Canada taking the IB diploma in French Immersion (which means history and math are taken in french). I already finished math methods SL (yes calc) and biology SL as a junior, which hopefully explains my lack of sciencey courses. I'm not really complaining though because I like the humanities better.

Chemistry HL
History of Europe HL in French
English A1 HL
French A2 SL
Spanish ab initio (10 honors... I needed a filler course and I was like hey, why not? It was a choice between that or something awful like physics or gym. Psych was my second choice but my friends said it was a lot of work, which I don't need during senior year of full IB!).
Wind Ensemble AM (outside timetable)
Chamber Choir AM (outside timetable)
MUN International Politics (we get school credit for MUN because there's a class after school once a week. I took it last year, but I'm still on the MUN team so I get to go and discuss politics hooray!)

Oh yeah. We're on a semestered schedule, but IB messes it up. HLs are all year as are band and choir. MUN and spanish are first semester for me, french is second.

As for the IB vs. AP debate, it all depends on what you're taking. In general, the IB diploma is harder than just taking AP classes because you need to have all your IAs, Oral Exams, Extended Essay, TOK, CAS hours and all that. However, some courses are easier than others. Calc AB would kick the arse of Math Studies IB SL and is similar to Math Methods SL, Math HL is supposedly similar to Calc BC, and Further Maths is way harder than the AP classes. Also, IB gives you the option (at my school anyways) of taking French Immersion and having a bilingual diploma, which could turn out to be a leg up in the admissions thing, as it's not exactly easy.

AP Calc AB (going to be a joke for the first couple months, we covered the first quarter's material in the second semester of precal)
AP Art History
AP Art Studio (maybe this year I'll finally get working)
AP Literature
AP Physics
Christian Vocation (aka Senior Religion)

I opted out of taking Spanish III in exchange for a free period because I only get a 20 minute lunch because of AP Physics (70 minute class), which isn't enough time to eat and do homework.

To the OP:
No, precalc is not needed to do well in calc AB. Just make sure you have a solid understanding of Alg II and Trig. The only reason I regret not taking precalc was because I didn't understand vectors or series all that well before the Calc BC exam. You should be fine for senior year though, considering you're taking AP physics (I was just skimming my book for next year; vectors are within the first few chapters).

As for my senior schedule:
Shakespeare Honors (I may drop the class because I hear it's a lot of work and it's just an elective to fill up empty space that isn't required to be filled)
AP English Literature
AP Physics
AP US Gov't and Politics
AP Comp. Gov't
Religion - (blahh)
Spanish IV Honors

I'm also taking a course (paid for by the school! yay!) at the local private college in Mathematical Statistics (from what I've read of it, it's Calculus-based; should be interesting) - first semester.

I have a free period second semester (my school RARELY allows that)...I can't wait..I'll be home free come April. Ok, ok - I'll have AP exams to worry about, but still...

Right... I'm in college.
Next semester:
Data Structures and Algorithms 1
Multimedia and Web Design
Computer Hardware
Databases

rising freshman....
English H
Algebra 1&2 H

AP Physics

English
Social Studies

Rising senior :D

AP English Literature
AP Spanish Literature
AP Calculus AB
AP US Govt./Econ (1 semester each)
Physics
Art

I'm going to be a senior, but we haven't gotten our schedules yet, but I know what mine is because a lot of AP classes are offered only 1 or 2 periods a day...

0-Forensics Workshop (aka Debate)
1- US Gov AP/ Macroecon AP (we alternate days...)
2- English Lit AP
3- Physics AP (probably gonna take C test, but there is only 1 class)
4- Teachers assistant probably (there's no other class I would take this period)
5- Academic Decathlon
6- Calculus AB AP

So this is my most likely schedule. This would be my absolutely set schedule, except the school allowed open enrollment for honors/AP classes, so there may be more than one Period of Physics AP, or more than 2 periods of english lit. I know English 1 honors went from 2 periods to 5, but I dunno about the more advanced classes...

gym
basketball
weighttraining
life sciences
stress management
bussiness skillz

pretty easy

rising senior:

AP Art History
AP calc AB
AP macroeconomics
AP microeconomics
AP Literature
AP comparative gov
AP US gov
Physics

i thought we made a deal. we all take easy courses this year. i followed through.

you all lied!!!!!!!1111

ok i talked with the course guy at my school today. If I drop AB calc i can take honors precalc and music appreciation 1st semester or tech theater 2nd semester. I dont think i wanna take tech theater cuz my study hall will be more useful to me 2nd semester before the ap tests. Music appreciation im kind of unsure about just because the word "appreciation" makes it sound like an easy course. Also, i should mention that the teacher for AB calc is the same teacher i had for honors alg2/trig and from my experience, she wasnt exactly the best teacher. The teacher for honors precalculus from what i heard is supposed to be really good. Hmm i dunno. I guess i should prbly just stick with honors pre-calc and music appreciation. Otherwise next year i might not get to take 6 aps since id need some fine arts credit. Anyway, what do yall think?

i had to make a similar decision.

it was either physics honors and weight training or ap calc and phyisics regular

i choose the later because physics regular is pretty tough.

do what sounds more reasonable. precalc and calc ab are separate. i would take ap calc because it will be very helpful for college.

Senior:

1) AP Art History
2) AP English 4 Literature
3) Economics Honors (no AP offered), then AP Government
4) Indepdendent Study Advanced Television Productions 3
5) AP Calculus BC
6) Physics Honors (they were supposed to put me in that last year)

Do what u really want. Ur schedule is tough anyways.

FOr me rising senior
not so impressive schedule

AP Physics C
