Schedule

I will be taking the following classes next year, does it seem like too much?

AP US
AP English 3
Chem
Algebra II
AP Physcology
AP Euro

I would have two study halls but I hope to fill them up with online classes, are online classes a good idea?

What grade will you be in next year? For a junior or senior, it’s not bad, although that does depend on whether you have sports/music/other things that will take up lots of time outside of school.

As for online classes, it really does depend on what class you’re taking. They’re not nearly as rigorous as in-school classes, from my own experience. Only take them if they’re required-credit classes like Health or P.E., or if they’re a class your school doesn’t offer.

That would be for junior year but I would probably not anything else besides a loaded schedule. As for the online classes I was thinking about American Government/Economics Online from Keystone to prepare for AP Gov and AP Economics for senior year along with Contemporary World Issues Online to prepare for AP Human Geography for senior year.

Are those classes required by the school for you to take the AP classes senior year? If not, you might not need them–I don’t know about Government, but AP Economics and Human Geo aren’t hard, and you should be able to do fine with just maybe some review over the summer. I would suggest taking maybe Pre-Calc online so you could take AP Calc senior year instead.

No their not, my school sadly doesn’t offer AP Gov, Eco or Human Geo so those would have to be online or independent studies. I would prefer AP Stats Online (again not offered by school) to AP Calc (offered by the school) since I want to minor in Poli Sci and then major in Law.

My plan for next year is AP English 3, APUSH, Chem, Algebra II, AP Euro, and AP Physc. Then for senior year I would go for Forensics as my science credit, AP English 3 for my english credit, Historical Genocides/Sociology (both are half year) for Social studies credit, and then my math is still to be decided but it could be Stats, Pre-Calc/Calc, or Personal Finance. I would then find a way to take AP Human Geo, Eco, and Gov as independent studies or online.
