Scheduling Advice?

Hi,

I'm going to be a junior next year and I was wondering which one of these classes I should take next year. I only have one spot left in my schedule

Honors Spanish 4 - I have completed 3 years of Spanish so far and the only reason I would take this class would be to look better in the eyes of admissions officers.

AP Physics C - I really like physics and I am aiming to qualify for the united states physic olympiad semifinals.

Normally, I would take Physics, however many top colleges ( Ivy League caliber) recommend 4 years of foreign language. What would you do if you were in my position?

couldn’t you take spanish 4 next year?

Take physics C this year so you can submit your AP scores to the universities you apply to. Then take Spanish next year

Go for
Physics, it looks better than Spanish. You can self study Spanish and list the AP
Score in your APP

To sound a little different than everyone else, take Physics just because you clearly (at least, by how you make it sound) have no interest in Spanish. You won’t enjoy it and colleges will know that you didn’t enjoy it. It just sounds like Physics will be the more enjoyable - and prestigious - option in this case.
