Scholar's Hall: Good or Bad Idea?

<p>I'm thinking about doing a scholar's hall, but I'm not entirely sure yet. From what I understand one of the main advantages is that it would give one slightly higher priority when it comes to housing preference, right?</p>

<p>Other than that it would just be a different atmosphere, probably. I'm not sure if this could be good or bad or not.</p>

<p>Has anyone here lived in a scholar's hall, or known people who have, and might be willing to talk a little about their overall experience? Was it still pretty social? Were the people cool? Etc. Etc.</p>

<p>Just curious.</p>
