Scholarship Board, questions, your thoughts, and experiences.

Been in lurkdom here for months.

I recently interviewed for a full ride scholarship. There were 250 finalists being interviewed and only 40 scholarships to hand out. Won't find out until next week...maybe.

There were around 12 interview rooms with 3 "board members" in each. Kids were coming out in a daze and some even came out in tears. I had a great interview!!

Does anyone have any info as to how this works? I was just wondering if the board members (professors) have any say at the end of the day....or do they just score the interview and hand it in to________ and they decide? Or do all the professors get together and pick their best interviews?

Just wondering what your experiences are/were with this whole scholarship interview process?

(I rather not say the college I interviewed at until the results come in.)
