I’m OOS, Jewish, fairly heavily involved in volunteering (adopted a beach, etc), 3.82 GPA (4.00 Weighted) with 6 AP and 1 Honors class, as well as 4 advanced classes which don’t count towards GPA. I got a 34 ACT (34 English, 32 Math, 33 Reading, 36 Science, Combined English/Writing 31) and didn’t take the SAT. Been in Marching Band 4 years, Section Leader for 2 of those, and got some kind of band honors each year. Started my own club, as well. I’ve been lucky enough to receive scholarships at the schools I’ve heard from thus far and am not sure my chances at UConn, I honestly don’t know how selective their scholarships are. If anyone here knows my chances of receiving scholarship, that would be super helpful, as well as a ballpark of how much I could expect to get (if any). Thanks!
UConn is stat heavy. You’ll almost definitely get in and offered some scholarship (probably won’t be that great though) since you’re OOS. Those test scores might even get you an offer at the honors college, although they prefer the SAT.
