Scholarship Chances?

I was wondering what kind of money, if any, I could get for these stats.

SAT 1380/2050
GPA 4.0/4.3
accepted into pre-pharm with conditional acceptance to Pharmacy school
Honors college
great essay and recs
applied early
white
female
in state

any ideas?

Your SAT is a bit low. 1450 is considered to be the cutoff.

Maybe you'll be eligible for a partial scholarship (sorry, I missed the editing cutoff).

Based on last year's information, you'll likely get a $2000 scholarship - the 1450 is the cutoff for the full-tuition scholarship

I was really hoping to get the 2000 dollar scholarship, but I havent heard anything yet and I'm getting worried as I got my acceptance letter awhile ago. Thank you guys for all of your insights!

If 1450 is the SAT cutoff, does anyone know what the cutoff is on the ACT for full scholarship. I am having a very hard time finding this information on the website. If anyone has a link to this information on the website, that would be great too.

My D just decided yesterday to apply to Pitt after receiving a brochure in the mail. Seems everyone else here applied so long ago. How will her applying now effect her chances at a full tuition scholarship?

^^^ It's not too late, but she should apply as soon as possible. No one here knows if the number of scholarships will be cut back due to budget woes.

Last year, according to what people posted, either a 32 or a 33 was the cutoff. Browse through old posts and you'll see.

Thanks LurkNess

She has a 1430 SAT and a 34 ACT. So, provided there is still funds, seems like she should get something.

I think she has the whole app done except the essay

I would definitely submit the 34 ACT and maybe not the SAT (because that's a bit under what has traditionally been the full-scholarship threshold of 1450). Can you submit one and not the other? My daughter didn't take the ACT, so I don't know how that works.

Also, are you OOS?

I think she already submitted them both. Schools always say they look at the highest scores. Guess we will find out. Yes, we are OOS. Does that make a difference?

I got a full tuition scholarship with only a 1400 so you never know. Just wait and see what happens
