<p>the coach contacted me just to remind me that the scholarship applications must be received on time. (he said that they're more forgiving on the actual applications tho - but those are on-line anyway)</p>
<p>I can only imagine how strict this policy must be if a coach felt the need to actually both email me and call me about this. so, uh, better safe than sorry? as someone said earlier.</p>
<p>then again, i am hypocrite, because im just now finishing up my application.</p>

<p>my problem, however, is that all critical/analytical essays i write are > 1200 words. and they want 750! I can't handle this. my essay is crapppppppp...
i decided to take an essay i had written and shorten it up, but now it's just a list of facts. not dynamic at all. anyway... im off topic.</p>
<p>if they receive a LOT of applications, then they'll probably give 1st priority to those received on the 15th or before.
they probably won't feel required to read those reeceived later.
it's almost a test to see how much you really want it.</p>
