I'm quite confused. I am an international student who has applied to USC scholarship consideration before 1st December, 2010. However, i have no received a decision or interview yet. Is that normal? When do international students usually get informed? Do they get interview opportunities too? Thanks.

Andrew- I don’t think internationals are treated any differently. The two biggest scholarships have interviews. They are taking place right now. My son is in the last group to be interviewed this Thursday and Friday. Decision will be announced shortly after that. These kids were notified of their acceptance and nomination for scholarships back in January I believe. The third biggest scholarship, Dean’s, requires no interview and I have heard that some kids were awarded that as well. USC has lots of other scholarships but I don’t know anything about when those are awarded.

Hi Andrew, I see from the scholarship list that there is a scholarship for international students only (half tuition) but it requires no interview. I believe you are notified by mail if you are the recipient of this award. Good luck!
