<p>Hi..I am an int'l student who was admitted to USC.
Because I submitted my application before Dec.1 2008, I have chances for scholarship opportunities.</p>
<p>However, about a month ago, I received a letter that they cannot offer Trustee or presidential scholarships for me.</p>
<p>I want to know whether I still have a chance to get INTERNATIONAL FRESHMAN ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS. I received my acceptance letter at March 11.</p>
<p>Does anyone know about this scholarship?</p>

<p>That’s what I’ve been wanting to know as well. Doesn’t seem like USC has offered it to anybody yet though, and we’re already pretty close to April 1.</p>

<p>they usually send scholarship notices by mail (letter). It comes with an acceptance form that you need to fill out and return.</p>

<p>bmom, I know they send scholarship decisions by mail but when I got the Deans they also notified me through email, so I was wondering if they’d do the same with the International Freshman Academic. However I don’t think they’ve sent anything out so far or we’d hear about it on cc. Maybe the letters are just taking a longer time to arrive since its a international student-only award. Thanks anyway, I think I’ll call them on 1 April to check!</p>

<p>I just emailed SC’s financial aid office asking about the scholarship earlier today, hopefully they’ll reply me real soon.</p>

<p>And we have to reply by May 1? That’s bad for us internationals cause mail takes a long time to get here and vice versa… Will they inform us thru email or something as well? Or perhaps put it up online so that we can check our status</p>
